Church Leadership Team
As an advisory team to the Elder board our constitution calls for a Church Leadership Team (CLT). This is a group of people who are recognized by the congregation as spiritually mature individuals who will act as advisors to the elders as well as a go-between for the people and the leaders and staff of the church. The CLT is made up of an equal number of men and women of different ages to represent the congregation and serve a term of five years. It meets on a monthly basis to be appraised by the elders on the condition of ministry through the staff, and in the church, as well as to bring any concerns they might be aware of to the attention of the elders. Each member of the CLT has the responsibility of oversight of various ministry teams.

Andrew has been part of Risen Life since 2012. He and his wife, Lindsay, have a son Will, born October 2022. He is a lawyer and loves the RLC community and hanging with the youth (when baby Will allows it).
Leslie Clement

Leslie Clement and her family moved to Salt Lake City in 2006 and joined Risen Life in 2008. She has 4 children, all of whom have flown the coop. She is a real estate agent at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Utah Properties and enjoys DIY home projects and decor, scrapbooking, travelling, participating in Bible Study Fellowship and spending time with friends and family. She taught the one year old class for 4 years and adores those little bundles of joy!

I have been attending Risen Life since 2022. Myself, my wife (Rebekah) and 5 children have greatly enjoyed the friendships, leadership, music, teaching, and outreach ministry at this local church body. Our children have connected through youth ministries and we are excited to see them continue to grow in their faith. My wife and I have a heart serving in children’s ministries at Risen Life as we love this impressionable age, honesty and child-like faith. With a profession in higher education and academic research, I naturally like learning and asking a lot of questions. In regards to hobbies, I enjoy staying active through regular exercise, hiking, and gardening. I also like smiling, smiling is my favorite.

I have been following Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior for more than 30 years. I can testify that God is Good and I lack nothing. He has been my Refuge, Wisdom, Strength, Vine, Living Water and my Delight. Jesus Christ has provided everything for me to obey his calling joyfully. He has proved over and over that when I abide in Him, He would do the work. It’s not what I can do for Him, but what He can do in and through me. This has included serving in children’s and adult ministries, establishing and leading prayer meetings, sharing the Gospel regularly, ministering to the homeless people, missions, and bringing unity to the Body of Christ.
I begin each day by spending time with my Lord Jesus Christ in his Word and prayer. My husband Chris and I joined Risen Life in May 2024. We treasure our three children and five grandchildren. We get together with them often. I love gardening, hiking, and worshiping our Lord with other believers. Please let me know how I can encourage, serve, and pray for you.
