GriefShare
GriefShare is a Christian-based support and encouragement group hosted by Risen Life Church and is open to anyone age 18 and older who is dealing with the death of a loved one.
The group meets at various times throughout the year in 13 week sessions. Participation in all 13 weeks is highly encouraged, it is not required. Participants have the freedom to pick and choose which sessions they feel would be most beneficial.
Consider joining us for your own support and encouragement or feel free to come in the role of a support person to someone you know who is dealing with a loss.

Orphan Care Ministry
The Risen Life Orphan Care Ministry exists to encourage individuals and families for the work of orphan care.
Orphan Care Conference
We host a biannual Orphan Care Conference which explores domestic and international adoption, foster care, coming alongside adoptive/foster families, and a multitude of other ways to love vulnerable kids. We partner with local organizations who are helping kids. Learn more here.
Adoptive/Foster Family Support
We also support families in our church who are adopting or fostering children. Our FAM (Foster & Adoptive Mothers) group studies the Bible and provides encouragement for foster and adoptive moms. We also host informational workshops throughout the year for families interested in getting more involved or learning about foster care and adoption.
The Transformation Principle
This is a Christ-centered, Bible-based approach that uses God’s Word in a unique way to break destructive patterns.
This class tackles problem solving, including but not limited to: emotional problems (fear, anger, guilt, poor self-image), as well as addictions (drugs, alcohol, food, etc.) Our leaders have experience with recovery ministry for over 20 years.
If you have the desire to be set free from an unhealthy lifestyle, and would like to try this class, you are welcome to attend any time. Please discover for yourself the peace, joy, and confidence that is realized through a relationship with the One who truly loves you. John 8:36 says, “If the son sets you free you shall be free indeed.”
This group meets Sunday mornings.
